ORANGE ( ICED ) TEA

Wanna put a spin on the traditional lemon iced tea? Try using oranges instead! The first time I had it was at a Hong Kong style cafe and it's absolutely delicious and refreshing. I gulp down gallons of it in one sitting.

Here's the recipe to make your own orange (iced) tea. It's a cinch.

6 cups of water
2 tea bags of black tea or any tea you like
2 oranges
1 tablespoon of honey

First, fill your pitcher with water. Dump two tea bags into it, more if you prefer it stronger. Stick it in the fridge for a few hours and you'll get nicely chilled, black tea.

Then, cut an orange in half and juice one of the halves to mix in with the tea. Add honey, and cut the rest of the oranges into thin slices and drop it all in there and mix the potion up. Since the tea is already chilled, I don't normally add ice because I like to keep it strong, but feel free to add it if you like. And I love eating the sliced oranges afterwards. The peel comes off easily because it's been marinated in tea.

Enjoy!
